Rules & Information
This is where you can find any and all rules concerning The Warrior World. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these rules, please contact an admin. If you believe you are at risk of breaking one of the rules, please contact an admin. If you are unsure if you're at risk of breaking one of the rules, please contact an admin first.
WARNING SYSTEM.
The Warrior World has a 3-strike warning system. After the first warning - which is usually verbal, and will not result in a strike - that is given to a member regarding breakage of rules, any recurring issues will earn said member one strike. Once a member hits three strikes, their membership will be cancelled and they will be banned indefinitely from the site, unless otherwise stated.

Out Of Character
- RESPECT & GENERAL FRIENDLINESS. We here at The Warrior World do not tolerate disrespect or disregard for the feelings of our members. If we find that any members - any, and that includes administrators - are harassing or otherwise bullying a member, the issue will be dealt with swiftly and without mercy. If you are having issues with another member, contact an administrator - never take matters into your own hands. Chances are an administrator can get the problem dealt with, with less drama than anyone else. You will only be warned once in regards to this rule, any other breakage will earn you a warning.
- GOD-MODDING. We do not permit god-modding, which in simple cases can range from making another player's cat say or do something that the player does not agree with, and in worst cases includes killing a cat that does not belong to you without the permission of that cat's player. Most times, members don't realize they're god-modding, so always check to make sure that your roleplay partner agrees with anything involving their cat doing something.
- LITERACY. The Warrior World has a really simple literacy rule - as long as you can read and write, we can help you from there! Take a trip over to the Tutorial Page and you can "enroll" yourself in roleplay lessons. If you're not too interested in your lessons being out in the open, feel free to PM (private message) an administrator and they will assist you privately! We do not tolerate the harassment of others ("noobs") for their roleplaying skills, nor do we tolerate the idea of not roleplaying with someone because of said skills - the only way they will ever gain more skill is through experience.
- GARY-STU AND MARY-SUES. You may have heard of these two types of characters before. The only difference between the two is the gender - Gary-Stu is for male characters, and Mary-Sue for female. These characters are those who appear to have no flaws - they are perfect at everything they do, and lack a significant amount of imperfections. What most players don't realize is that it's the imperfections that make roleplaying fun - it adds drama and character. Therefore, if an administrator deems a cat a Mary-Sue or Gary-Stu, that cat will be frozen up until the issues are resolved. The member owning the cat will receive a message specifying details that need to be changed, and we expect them to be changed or defended efficiently for the character to be accepted.
- GRAMMAR AND SPELLING. The Warrior World is set in 3rd person POV (point of view). This means most actions will end in -ed. "Padded", "Swiped", "Meowed". For example:
Rabbitstar padded into WindClan camp, heading over to the prey pile for a mid-day meal of fresh, juicy mouse. It was perhaps his favorite thing to eat whenever he had the time. - CHARACTER LIMIT. We have a character cap set at 8 cats per player. This does not include cats you are watching. You may "babysit" another player's cat in cases where said player is taking leave or cannot play their cats, but don't want to give them up. Unless given good reason, you may only babysit another cat for three months, then it will be absorbed into your cat count or given up for adoption.
- BANS AND PROMOTIONS. As administrators, we reserve the right to ban the birth of litters in any Clan if the population of said Clan gets too high. We will also let you guys know what Clans might need more cats!
- SHARING PERSONAL INFORMATION is strongly discouraged. While members will sometimes exchange cell phone numbers and disclose their real names, time zones, grades, ages, and the states they live in, it would be wise of you to withhold your home phone number and address for your own protection. The staff of The Warrior World cannot be held responsible for any consequences that follow the disclosure of personal information.
- OTHER ANIMALS to roleplay aside from cats are forbidden (foxes, badgers, dogs, humans, etc). The only time you may play one is a short NPC while fighting.
- GOLDEN RULES 1&2. Here at TWW we have two golden rules - the first is the general rule of "do unto others as you would have done unto you", so basically, don't be a jerk. The second rule is that administrators have the right, at any time, to tell a member they can't do something. No, this does not make us dictators - if you feel an administrator is treating you unfairly, please notify another administrator and the issue will be dealt with. But this does mean that, even if it's not listed in the rules, we can tell you if you're doing something we don't approve of and yes, you will have to listen to us.
In Character
- CATS. The Warrior World does not allow cats who are not natural. This means that any unnatural pelt and eye colors (purple, pink, etc) will not be permitted. No super-powers, no odd markings, etc. If you're unsure if your cat is "unnatural", please contact an administrator.
- HIGH RANKS. A member may have up to two high-ranking cats, who are not in the same clan nor in the same position (a leader and a deputy, in different clans, for example). In instances where your deputy is about to become leader and you still have a leader, you must give up one of the positions - this can be done by putting the cat up for adoption, killing them off, or having the cat step down from their position. Any high-ranking cats put up for adoption will be relinquished to the administrators, who will choose the next player. We will not tolerate players who beg for high ranks. If you are the owner of a leader or medicine cat, it is under your discretion to pick your deputy or apprentice. Do not be pressured.
- MOONPOOL AND GATHERINGS. If you own a leader or medicine cat, you must take your cat to their duties every month. This means medicine cats and their apprentices must attend the monthly moonpool (the dates of which will be updated on the sidebar) and leaders and their deputies must attend the monthly gatherings. If you cannot, for any reason, make these dates, please notify an administrator! Do not wait until the day of. If you consecutively miss three meetings without good reason, your cat will be stripped of it's position and the position will be given to a more deserving cat. As for moonpools, your medicine cat can go at any time, the dates for these meetings are only to make it easier for administrators to also be there.
- QUEENS, KITS, ETC. Please request permission for your she-cat to become pregnant before you role-play it. Yes, of course your she-cat may become pregnant. No, it cannot be with an "unnamed tom", who doesn't exist on-site unless given specific permission by one of the administrators. Your she-cat must have a mate (and vice versa for toms), and once your cat is deemed pregnant via roleplay (which is just a quick trip to the medicine cat den!), your Queen must wait 5 real-time days to give birth (once you notify an admin of your Queen's pregnancy, we will put down the date of which your cat can give birth and notify you!). The Warrior World's litters have a cap at 4 kits per litter, but don't feel pressured to have four kits with every litter!
- FEMALE LEADERS AND KITS. We have a special rule here for female leaders - because of the fact that, once pregnant, a she-cat leader (she-leader, for short) must step down from her leader duties while pregnant and stay in the nursery with her kits until they become apprentices, she-leaders may only have two litters once they become leaders. This has no affect on female deputies. And yes, if your female leader is granted permission to become pregnant, she must step down and her deputy will take over until her kits are named apprentices, upon which she will recover her leader duties.
- GETTING OLD? Cats are not fertile forever. Toms lose fertility (can no longer have kits) once they hit 120 moons. She-cats lose fertility once they hit 90 moons. After this time, your cat can no longer have kits.
- PROPHECIES. Are for administrators only - you CANNOT create your own prophecy. If you have suggestions for future events and prophecies, PM an administrator and we will discuss your ideas, but you may not put your own plan into action unless given permission by an administrator.
- AGING. The cats on the site are aged 4 moons every real-time month, and this is all taken care of by the administrators every gathering. So do not worry about aging your own cat.
- NAMES. This is a roleplay site based off the original Warrior Cat series, therefore names must be something those cats knew. Administrators have the right to deny any name we deem unacceptable.Visit the Names page to see more in-depth rules on names!
